Reservation Terms and Conditions

Reservations

Reservations can be made up to 7 days prior to commencement of your proposed journey. Please fill in the Blue Travel Reservation Request (Standard Form | Secure Form) including the first eight (8) digits of your credit card number.

Blue Travel prefers reservations via the Internet. But you may also print out the reservation form and fax it to one of our worldwide offices:

Our Reservations staff will respond promptly to your enquiries and provide booking confirmations within 72 hours. The answer includes your reservation file number and the total amount due.

The reservation becomes final as soon as we receive the missing digits of your credit card number. If you fail to submit full credit card details within 72 hours after we sent your confirmation, we may cancel your reservation at any time.

Payment

The Blue Train accept the following credit cards: MasterCard, VISA, JCB, American Express and Diners Club. Full credit card details are required at the time of booking to secure confirmation. The total amount is payable 60 days before departure. If there are less than 60 days between your reservation and departure, the total amount is due at the time of reservation.

Any credit card payment which cannot be authorized for any reason may result in a cancellation of the booking.

Change of Existing Reservations

If you need to change an existing reservation please send an e-mail to Blue Travel as soon as possible.

If you inform us about a change of your booking more than 63 days before departure, a fee of ZAR 500 will apply. If your e-mail reaches us less than 63 days before departure, any alterations will be treated as a complete cancellation with a following new booking.

Cancellation

If you need to cancel an existing reservation please send an e-mail to Blue Travel as soon as possible.

Any cancellation will be reconfirmed in writing (fax, letter, e-mail) through Blue Travel. This reconfirmation will include the date and time we have received the cancellation and the fees involved. Your credit card will be used to both debit or credit the final amounts.

Cancellation Fees:

  • Until Blue Travel has received your final acceptance on the booking (no more than 7 days from initial booking): No charge.
  • Until 63 days before departure 10% of the per person tour price.
  • Cancellations received within 62 days of departure are subject to forfeiture of the entire tour price.
  • No Show 100% (total amount).
  • There will be no refund for any part of the tour which might be missed due to personal reasons.
