Vehicles cannot be requested by make or model, only by booking code or vehicle type e.g. Spirit 2 etc.
* Please be advised that Maui in New Zealand will be taking into its fleet a number of new Spirit 2 vehicles which will have a diesel engine from Oct 2007. When booking a Spirit 2 in New Zealand for travel from Oct 2007 you may receive either petrol or a diesel engine vehicle upon vehicle collection. It is not possible pre vehicle collection date to advise what engine type you will receive nor is it possible to request either one of the engine types in advance. If you receive one of the new diesel engine Spirit 2 vehicles the Diesel Tax Recovery fee (DTR) will be payable per 100 kilometres at the end of the hire. The fee per 100kms will be NZD 3.70. Please remember, Diesel, even when coupled with DTR is more than likely to be still cheaper than petrol. The diesel model has a 1.9lt Diesel engine with an eighty litre tank. The fuel consumption is approximately 7.0lts/100km.
** Maximum weight top single bed is 60kg
+ Baby and Booster seats are available for hire at an additional charge. These should be pre-booked.
