Effortless Cape Town
Day 01, 02 + 03: On arrival at Cape Town Airport, you will be welcomed by an Afro Ventures representative and you will be transferred to the Cape Town hotel of your choice. After a comprehensive self-drive briefing, you will receive your personalized travel journal, which provides our recommendations on fine dining and the many attractions of Cape Town. Your rental car will be delivered to your hotel. Your days are at leisure to explore the sights of Cape Town. Should you wish to take any of our guided tours in and around Cape Town, we suggest that you pre-book these with our reservations center to ensure availability. Overnights on a bed & breakfast basis.
Day 04: Drive to Cape Town Airport to drop off your rental car, in time for your connecting flight, or continue your self-drive holiday along the Garden Route.

Effortless Garden Route Self Drive
Day 01 + 02 + 03: You will be met at Cape Town Airport by an Afro Ventures representative and transferred to the hotel/guesthouse of your choice. Our representative will go through your travel documentation with you, providing self-drive tips, advice on fuel stops and on the many interesting places you can visit en-route. Your rental car is delivered and you have three days at leisure to explore the Cape Peninsula. Overnights at the hotel of your choice on a bed & breakfast basis.
Day 04 + 05: Depart from Cape Town for the charming and hospitable coastal town of Hermanus, situated in Walker Bay on the eastern seaboard. Hermanus is renowned for sightings of Southern Right whales. Some of the most southerly vineyards are situated around Hermanus, and hiking trails through the protected fynbos-covered mountain slopes provide ample alternative pleasures. Please note that we can pre-book any guided tours that you may wish to take, prior to your departure. Two overnights in the Hermanus hotel of your choice on a bed & breakfast basis.
Day 06, 07 + 08: Continue through the farmlands of the Overberg region to the Garden Route coastline. Drive the scenic back roads and old passes to explore the real Garden Route, then laze on some of the most beautiful and unspoiled beaches in South Africa. There are magnificent nature sanctuaries to visit en-route, and the Plettenberg Bay area itself offers a host of historic, scenic, social and adventure activities. Three overnights at the hotel of your choice on a bed & breakfast basis.
Day 09 + 10: Drive east towards Port Elizabeth, then inland to Kwandwe Private Game Reserve, near Grahamstown in the Eastern Cape. Kwandwe offers the ultimate in exclusivity with only six safari suites on 16 000 hectares of immaculately restored wilderness. The Reserve's experienced rangers will track the Big Five with you on morning and afternoon game-drives, and guide you on interpretive nature walks along Kwandwe's privately owned Great Fish River banks. Your overnights are on a full board basis, including all safari activities offered by the lodge.
Day 11: Drive to Port Elizabeth Airport to drop off your rental car, in time for your connecting flight.

Effortless Phinda
Day 01 + 02: You will be met at Johannesburg International Airport and transferred to Fedair's private lounge where you can enjoy the amenities before your direct charter flight to Phinda Private Game Reserve's airstrip at approximately 11h00. You will be welcomed to Phinda by your game ranger and transferred to the lodge of your choice. Two overnights at Phinda Private Game Reserve on a full board basis, including game-drives and guided interpretive nature walks exploring the reserve's seven eco-systems. Phinda Adventures are an optional extra - discuss the options with your ranger, who will advise which of the adventures are best suited to your interests. Two overnights at Phinda inclusive of two game drives and all meals.
Day 03: One final game-drive through the Reserve, where you may encounter a leopard teaching her cubs to hunt. Then your ranger will transfer you to Phinda's bush airstrip for your charter flight back to Johannesburg International Airport.

Day 01 + 02: You will be met on arrival at Johannesburg International Airport and transferred by road (approximately two hours) to the Sun City hotel of your choice. Days at leisure to enjoy the world-class facilities and adventures of Sun City, and two overnights on a bed & breakfast basis. There are superb golfing facilities at Sun City - please ask for details.
Day 03: You will be transferred by road to Johannesburg International Airport for your onward flight.

Self-drive Mpumalanga Tour
From Johannesburg it is an easy 4 to 5 hour drive to your first accommodation in the Lowveld adjoining the Kruger National Park. Here you spend two nights with a full day to explore the area. The following two nights are spent on safari at a private game lodge. Self-drive back to Johannesburg.
Day 01 + 02: Collect your rental car at Johannesburg International Airport and drive east towards Mpumalanga and the Kruger National Park. Spend two nights in a country retreat on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis with a full day at leisure to explore the scenic beauty of the Panorama Route. Take in Blyde River Canyon and the majestic views over the Kruger National Park bushveld.
Day 03 + 04: After a leisurely breakfast leave your country retreat for the safari experience of a lifetime at a private game lodge bordering the Kruger Park. Your stay includes twice-daily game-drives in open 4x4 vehicles with skilled trackers and rangers, and three sumptuous meals a day.
Day 05: After the morning game-drive and breakfast it is time to leave the lodge and drive back to Johannesburg.

For those who prefer the convenience of air travel, a safari experience at Ngala Private Game Lodge in the Kruger National Park combines effortlessly with a visit to Sun City.
Day 01 + 02: Fly from Johannesburg to Ngala airstrip with our convenient daily air shuttle service. Between game activities there is time to swim in the lodge's sparkling pools and enjoy fairytale-like moonlit bush dinners and spectacular bush sundowners. Ngala Private Game Lodge also offers unique activities for children. Spend two nights at Ngala Private Game Lodge on a fully inclusive basis
Day 03 +04: After your last morning game-drive and breakfast you will be transferred by road to nearby Hoedspruit Airport. From here a scheduled daily flight takes you directly to Sun City. At Sun City there is plenty of time for rest and relaxation, and an opportunity for great recreation. The Valley of the Waves and Sun City's superb golf courses provide entertainment for the more energetic. Spend two nights at the hotel of your choice at Sun City on a bed & breakfast basis.
Day 05: From Sun City there is the option to return to Johannesburg or continue your holiday with a direct flight to Cape Town.

Zambezi & the Okavango Delta
Day 01, 02 + 03: You are welcomed to Zimbabwe at Victoria Falls Airport by an Afro Ventures representative and driven to Matetsi Water Lodge. Matetsi is set in 50,000 hectares of exclusive wilderness, encompassing 15 kilometers of private Zambezi River frontage. Days spent exploring the mighty river by canoe and on boat-cruises, and enjoying the game experience on nature walks and extensive game-drives. Three overnights on a fully inclusive basis.
Day 04, 05 + 06: You will be driven across the border to Kasane Airport in Botswana, and assisted onto your light aircraft flight to Nxabega Okavango Safari Camp or Sandibe Safari Lodge. Both lodges are ideally situated at the point where the permanent Okavango channels meet the sweeping floodplains. Days spent exploring the crystal-clear waters of the Delta, and game-viewing on foot or in open landrovers. Three overnights on a fully inclusive basis.
Day 07: You are transferred to your lodge's bush airstrip for your light aircraft flight to Maun Airport.

The Botswana Hemingway is a deluxe, fully serviced camping and accommodated safari delivering all the style, grace and impeccable service of a luxury lodge. Day 1: Victoria Falls Hotel, Victoria Falls Village. You will be met at Victoria Falls airport and transferred to the Victoria Falls Hotel. Meet your Afro Ventures safari guide at 17h00 for a comprehensive safari briefing, cocktail and dinner. Overnight at the gracious Victoria Falls Hotel.
Day 2 + 3: Northern Chobe National Park You are taken on a guided Tour of the Falls before proceeding on a transfer to Chobe National Park where we will be welcomed by the safari camp staff. This area provides us with superb game-viewing drives and a scenic boat cruise on the Chobe River. Two overnights at our pre-erected exclusive Hemingway camp.
Day 4 +5: Savute, Chobe National Park We continue overland to Savute, world-renowned for its large concentrations of game and predators and excellent birding. We stay at Savute Elephant Camp, a deluxe lodge overlooking the dry Savute Channel.
Day 6 + 7: North Gate, Moremi Wildlife Reserve Today we head south to the Khwai region of Moremi, reputed to be Africa's most beautiful reserve. Two overnights at our exclusive Hemingway camp.
Day 8 + 9: Okavango Delta We depart by light aircraft to Nxabega Okavango Safari Camp, in the heart of the permanent Okavango Delta. Here we explore the Okavango by canoe, powerboat and on nature walks. Two overnights at Nxabega Okavango Safari Camp.
Day 10 + 11: Central Kalahari Game Reserve We fly by light aircraft to the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. Days are spent exploring the desert environment of the Central Kalahari on extensive game-drives, with two overnights at our pre-erected exclusive camp.
Day 12: Deception Valley Lodge We leave the Kalahari for Deception Valley Lodge, which borders the reserve. Our stay allows us to enjoy a night drive with a good chance of encountering interesting nocturnal wildlife.
Day 13: Maun After breakfast we fly by light aircraft to Maun Airport where the safari terminates.
GRADE 1 Combination fully serviced camping, deluxe lodge and hotel safari with a maximum of seven participants travelling by Afro Ventures specially modified 4x4-safari vehicle. All meals and drinks are included in the safari fare. Age limit - 65 years. No children under 12.

Day 01 + 02: Your Afro Ventures representative meets you at your hotel, and transfers you to Swakopmund Airport for your light aircraft flight to the Sossusvlei Mountain Lodge. The flight alone is unforgettable, unveiling the moonscape-like vistas of granite landscapes and rolling dunes. Two overnights at the Sossusvlei Mountain Lodge on a full board basis including activities offered by the lodge. Hot-air ballooning is an optional extra.
Day 03: You will be transferred to your desert airstrip for a light aircraft flight to Swakopmund Airport.

Effortless Victoria Falls
